
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Our County Program is built to facilitate all skill levels, to include beginner players. We ensure placement is appropriate for the level of skill and experience. Our evaluations process is key to the successful placement of all players, so please check our website and Facebook pages for the next scheduled evaluation dates.
For more advanced/dedicated players, we offer our Elite Select program to targeted age groups.
The soccer ball size depends on format your player is registered for.
- Tots, Clinic I & II are Size 3
- Elite U8 thru U12 are Size 4
- Elite U13 and above are Size 5
Approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the season, you will be contacted by your player's coach regarding practices and team events. The only time there would be a delay in contact is if we are still in need of a coach for your player's team.
Games are played primarily on Saturdays during the Fall Season, and Sundays during the Spring Season. There are always exceptions to this rule, so please be flexible on the weekends!
For teams with volunteer coaches, they will establish practice times based on their schedule and based on discussions with the team. We cannot guarantee specific days of the week, but will do our best to accommodate your schedule if we can.
Our Clinic training days are available at registration to help create predictability for our parents and players.
We use a variety of fields in the Glen Burnie area to maximize practice space for our teams. Our home fields are Corkran Middle School, but we also use fields at Oakwood Elementary School, Marley Middle School, Marley Elementary School, Glen Burnie High School, Southgate-Old Mill Park, North Glen Park, Glendale Elementary School, Bachman Sports Complex, and others as they become available.
For our Rec "In House" teams will play all games at Corkran Middle School.
Our Elite County program requires travel within Anne Arundel County limits for away games. Home games for Elite County:
- U8-U10: Corkran Middle School (Upper Field)
- U11-U12: Corkran Middle School (Lower Field) & Marley Middle School
- U13-U18: Marley Elementary School & Glen Burnie High School (Turf & Bermuda Fields)
Our Elite Select program requires travel throughout the state of Maryland, and in some cases, neighboring states.
Athough we try to keep players together, there are many factors that impact our ability to to do so. In the lower levels of competition, we do try and keep players on the same team. For upper level competition teams, there are many times that players may move up or down based on progression and development.
Harundale Youth Soccer partners with Soccer Post for all uniform ordering. Following registration you can expect a link to be sent via email that allows for uniform and other item ordering throughout the season.
Players will not be permitted to participate in game day activities without the correct uniform.
We use Blue Sombrero for our online registration platform. Once you click on the REGISTER NOW link on our website, you will be redirected to our Blue Sombrero to create an account/login in and complete the registration steps.
For our Rec "In House" Program, you will be prompted to complete all information and complete payment.
For our Elite Programs, you will register for the evaluation/tryout - this first step does not incur a fee as it let's us know you are interested and that we can place your player on a team. Once placed, you will recieve a follow-up email with payment instructions.
Once you receive the email confirming placement on a team and/or program, you can log into your account and click on the Red Button that states, "Accept or Decline Position". Once you click on that button, the system will ask the remaining questions and allow you to check out/pay registration fees.
